Pretty exciting stuff to me. I will try (haha) to keep you all updated on my progress. I will try to catch you up on just what I have been doing all this time. There will be LOTS of pictures.
First of all was my birthday! This year on January 12th I turned 27. We had a few of my friends join us for dinner and then they all came over to play video games/have cake/horse around.

Here is the cake Adam got me. He thought that since I am Canadian we should have Canadian cake. I loved it. So cute.

Here is the interesting bottle of white wine that Anne found when we made a quick visit to the Liquor store. Lets all have a big glass of Royal Bitch! *lol*

Here is one of the gifts that I had gotten. I can't wait to try it with some orange juice or possibly on it's own. Yummy!

Next I visited my parents for a late Christmas (on the same weekend as my birthday) I have been and will be truly homesick. However we had a GREAT late Christmas. My aunt Pat and uncle Jon came over to celebrate. We had a nice dinner and then opened gifts. Here is a picture of the Christmas tree that my mom had set up in her basement room. I think it looked very beautiful with all the white lights.

Yesterday Adam's father got me Japanese Candy from his work place. They were pretty tasty. They were mostly puffed rice with a light sugar coating on them. And even a few were soy beans with a light sugar coating.

And finally... I started a new collection a couple weeks ago. As most of you know I am really in to Japanese culture (even more than anime) So I started to collect Kokeshi dolls. They originated in Northern Japane and later became popular at hot springs. THere are now two different kinds. I collect the older kind. I just find tem more interesting. Here is a picture (I am expecting a new one in the next two weeks)
