Hot and humid summer....
The Mamorial long weekend was great! I left on Friday morning and we affrievd around 8 30 pm. The reason being because Adam's car broke down just before we got in to New York State. Got to see my parents, got my timmies and rested like a log all night. Next day we went around Huron County with my parents. Visited stores, bought some needed items and had a nice BBQ. That night we saw my friends band Bastid Sonz at the Black Dog in Bayfield. Here is a link to their website Link I got to see a lot of people I haven't seen in a long time. Hopefully I will see them again soon. Then on Sunday morning we drove back to Pittsburgh with no can incident.
This past week has been so warm. It's a heat wave to say the least! On Thursday all the temps were layed off from Mine Safety Appliances. I mean I was a tinsy bit sad about it but I also need a little bit of a break. So, on Friday I got my nails re-done, got some art projects up and started and just relaxed (went to the gym of cource).
Today I got up and went to the gym to do X-Biking with Jakki. X-biking always gets my body woke up and ready to go on with the day. After I showered off I had a massage session with one of the personal trainers. I spent $60 for one hour. It was well worth it as far as I am concerned. My neck ended up being pretty stiff..... I feel better all over though. I may have to meet with her again an another couple month's. Which reminds me that I soon enough have to make an appointment with my personal trainer Maria. It's been a month since I've been doing the more difficult routine and I think it is working. As I said in my last post my waist size has gone down to 29 1/2 inches. I think I look more toned all over.
So, a couple of weeks ago I remember mentioning something about getting a new tattoo. Well, I did it! I got three cherry blossoms on my right ankle. I am pretty happy with the results and plus I did the design... the tattooer just cleaned it up a bit :) It cost $75 and only took a half hour. I am damn impressed. The scabbing is just about over. It didn't hurt as much as people think it does, when it was healing it felt a little like a bad sun burn but not really all that bad. It’s still scabbing over so I will include a picture in a few posts ahead.
In art news Debbie still wants her painting done, so I have been working on that. I put three piece's in the Clinton Spring Fair and I won! I won first place on this watercolour painting . I get $3.00 and an first place ribbon! There are a few other contests I plan to enter but I will talk about them more as the time comes up.
Anyways, that's all for now...
