Tekko Con 2007!

I had a great time! It was even better than last year. I arrived around 12:20 p.m. There were A LOT of people there. I had never seen it soo soo busy. Although, this year I had to go on a Saturday. I think I will continue to go on Saturdays for the con. I meet up with a couple girls from my Japanese class. We hung out, walked around all the different areas. The dealers area was HUGE this year. There was soo soo much I wanted to buy but only spent $150. I didn't have to use my atm at the hotel or anything. I am a good spender!! I bought a few little things. Here is how I broke it down:

-Mermaid Sega Manga 2,3, and 4 = $25.00

My portrait I bought is absolutely beautiful. I mean it looks just like me but still has a small anime touch to it. We also looked around artists alley and the video game room. I didn't get to play in the video game room too much but I will next year for sure! I watched "group battles" It was very entertaining to say the least. Just like the fighting in the role playing games that I own. I also got my picture taken with an coseplayer. He was dressed up as Spike from Cowboy Bebop. I don't know what it is but a decent looking guy in a Spike costume just makes me soo giddy. He looked so handsome. Also at the show I bought a big furry kitty tail to go with my kitty ears from Tekko 2006. I just looked too cute. I can't wait till next year.

Temp Joby Job and Tekkocon 2007

First of all I had a great Easter in Canada. I had fun with family & friends, had my fill of timmies coffee & Tea and a freak snow fall!!@@#! Everyone was surprised (not in a good way). If I "disliked" winter before I "hate" it now. *growls* Besides that thought like I said, Easter was good. I made a new type of drink from Timmies (totally by accident). I call it "Light Mint Cream" It is a medium Peppermint tea "Double Double" Mmm it was just soo soo good. I can't wait to have it again. While in Clinton I also did a good amount of walking (regardless of the snow + sit ups) and got my eye-brows waxed again. Trust me it beats useing tweasers. I got cool Easter gifts too!

Now for this week I have a few things going on. First of all on Wednesday I have a temp job starting at MSA. As some of you may or may not recall I worked there last summer. It was good and easy work. I am looking forward to it but I am also a little nervous. I will not let them rope me in to doing Evenings or Mid-nights. Mid-nights mentally screw up my internal clock 0_o!! and if I did evenings I would never see Adam. That would suck majorly! The only reason I left F.A.G. Bearings was because I wanted to be able to be with him every night. Plus you know I woudl only be making about 10 or 20 cents more. That doesn't fly with me what so ever.
- This weekend I will be attending the Tekkocon in Monroeville. Basically it's a small anime convention. I am so so so looking forward to it!! I will probibly be going on Saturday Eeeee!

Just so you all know my journals will be slow in coming. After exercise and working during the day I will be a little tired. But! fear not I will keep you all aware of anything new and exciteing.

Hello one, hello all. First of all Yes.. I know.. I need to update this thing. Sorry bout that. I haven't been up to too much. Some ol' same ol'. I am pretty excited about this up-coming weekend. It is Easter weekend which means I get to go home. I'll get to see family and close friends and have Timmies... Mmm Timmies. I'm just trying to get the apartment cleaned up so when I come back I don't have to worry.
Last week Adam surprised me with something BIG. At least it's BIG to me. He got us both tickets for the 2007 Virgin Festival in Toronto. Better still my favorite band in the whole wide world is going to be there "The Smashing Pumpkins!!" I am so excited. It will be a good end to summer. Plus I get to see Toronto again.
The weekend after Easter is Tekkocon. It's a big anime convention in Pittsburgh PA. I'll go rain or shine but I still don't like going alone. Last year I picked up a pair of wooden Japanese shoes, Pocky and Green furry Kitty Cat ears.

But anyways, that's all that is going on for now.
