Wellness and a lil Rant(ing)

For the well part! My Japanese Class is going good. I'v actually managed to remember things and keep them in my head. I enjoy the class very much (as if you all didn't know). I'v been working on projects and I might be able to make something of them. Time will tell I suppose. My resolution for lent has been staying on the cart as well. My resolution has been no snacking at night and no chocolate kisses, chocolate bars, chocolate ships, syrup. I think it will help me to be more healthy and honestly I think I am pretty damn healthy. I don't eat like a pig, I go for walks or do yoga or something where I'm moving around. Now all I need is a job and that will defenetly make me feel much better.

Now for the Ranting... First of all I love CafePress.com BUT I notice that a lot of the calligraphy and digital art (for the most place) are cut n paist. Now I like one of the images on there. I mean, I love penguins.. End of story. But I would really prefer images like drawing or paitning or something like that. Most of the calligraphy looks like it was cut and pasted from the Kanji Version of MS Word. Myself on the other hands practices and does calligraphy with brush and paint. Which by the way looks more personal and real. With my calligraphy I NEVER retouch it in Photo shop or change it in any way. I'v been told that my art looks really good and prefessional so that is why I say this. DO NOT get me wrong though, I like graphic design... when the design looks original and REALLY well done.

One Year at DA Already??!?

Well, everyone looks like one full year already. I really wonder where the time has gone. I would first of all like to thank my watchers and other Deviants who visit my page from time to time. Giving me comments that give me more confidence in my work and helping me to develop my painting, drawing and calligraphy abilities more.

For this special occasion I have decided to make a couple new submissions. Not calligraphy or painting but those will be on the way shortly.

Not much new business. The Winter Games (the one's I did watch) were good. I'm pretty proud of my home country. Execellent work Canada!! This past week I got a special gift! [link] I was geeked. In related news I think my Japanese Class is pretty good. My third class will be this upcoming Thursday. (the sketching class fell through, so I decided on Japanese Class) I am getting some new ideas for my calligraphy. Ideas are slowly forming.

On Saturday I went to a Japanese Restraunt for lunch. I had the Teriyaki Seafood Rice Bowl. It was execellent! I suggest that everyone try the "Oishii Bento" in Pittsburgh. Great Prices and very yummy foods.
