Just Random Stuff...

Well, everyone just a quick journal to let you all know that I am alive. In the past couple of weeks I have been kind of busy. First of all on Tuesday (two weeks ago) I dropped off a couple of resume's. One went to a business that is located in Keystone Commons. Where I _would_ have been doing data entry work. The second place would be the Edge Wood Country Club. After that week I went home for my Wedding shower (April 28th). It was pretty good and I got a lot of things that Adam and myself needed for the appartment. It was also nice to be home again, see family/friends, and have some good ol' Timmies coffee!!!

THis week I was called back to the country club for an interview. I am up for 2 jobs. The first job woudl be waitressing (90% chance) and the longshot second being Vendor at the Snack Shack (10% chance). I will know if I have the job sometime on friday! Eep tommorow!!

My art has been going great! I'v already gotten requests for my work. One for a wedsite logo/desk top theme for this person. The other is for a "Ninja Scroll". The first request is DONE and the second is in the early planning. I'v been adding a lot more Bruch Painting's to my web site so take a look if you want to see (^_^)

A little song and a little dance

Hey hey, I'v been busy but thought that I would make a quick blog entry for all of you. I have been busy. I'v done some job hunting this past week and getting prapaired to go home this weekend. Why you may ask? Well because this Saturday is my Bridal Shower. I'm excited to go home but nervous about the shower. I think it should be ok though. It's going to be all people I know. It's also been leaked to me by my mother that the presents will be very good. I just hope that the party isn't too henish. I think you all knwo what I mean.

The other part my of my busy week has been the prospect of getting a great Data entry job. I had an informal interview. Hopefully they call me back. They all seemed pretty interested in me. I also applied at an Country Club. More directly the Golf part of the club. I know that the job would be seasonal but if the other opentunity falls through at least I might have something to bring in some money.

Springy Spring! O'h and an update too :P

I know, I know it's been a while. Well first of all I'm still around (as if any of you had a doubt). I'v been busy! (kind of) And will now share all the good (and bad) stuff with you fine people.

On Friday the 8th I had a great time at the Tekkoshocon For all you who DO NOT knwo what it is. It's an anime convention that was held at the Radisson in Monroeville PA. I must say it was pretty awesome! I did coseplay as Agent Paper from Read or Die. I really fit the character. Maybe one day I will put up an actuall pic from then. I went with two other girls. And again I must thank Elizabeth for showing a first time convention goer like me around. Even though Friday was kinda slow it was still good. While at the show I saw many costumes. My favorite one was of Spike from Cowboy Bebop! The guy I saw was soo amazing. He would be the human equavalent. The fact that he was good looking really helped :) If you all want to see what I'm talking about e-mail me and I will show you the pic. Here's a couple pics of Spike (yes I'm obsessed! lol) One! Two! and Three!

Oh, before I forget! Also at the show I bought a t-shirt for one of my fav anime series Hellsing!! Next time I'm getting this one. The other items I bought are Japanese soda pop, the 4th Maison Ikoku manga, Mouse Green tea Pocky, and a commision (had someone draw Agent Paper and it looks sooo much like me! Eeeee)

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooo, on Friday night a friend of mine came over to take pictures of the valley (Turtle Creek) at night. The pictures turned out REALLY well. I'm sure they will eventually make their way on to the net. I did some taning on Saturday and Sunday. I am on my way back to a taned Kelly summer. In a month or 2 I will Re-Launch my summer blog! As you all may remember from last year! I just hope this summer is as wonderful, fun, sexy and beautiful as last year.

On a final note. Chinese Brush Painting was good tonight. It felt a little short though. Didn't get all my work done but I guess that is what next week is for. On my way out I also bought some art. A very nice glazed and fired piece. The best part is that it only cost one dollar. I guess I will be keeping an eye on that table more often.

Mmmm the smell of Spring and Summer..........

My Chinese Brush Painting this past week was GREAT! I am really good at drawing the symbol of Orchid and the picture of "the orchid". I also did a pretty good "first attempt" at drawing the Rooster (as in year of the Rooster). So, my painting skills are MUCH better than I had first thought. As a matter of fact tonight I decided to go out and get some water colours tonight. While I was at Michaels I also bought a pilate and a small set of water colour brushes. Actually Adam bought them, he's sooo sweet *kisses*

I started my job search this past Tuesday as well. It's called CareerLink Pittsburgh. I'v seen some interesting positions. I hope I find something soon.

I have yoga tommorow but that's nothing new. I do enjoy it a lot. It has soo many posatives: good exercise, relaxation, way to meet people, more flexability. The only down saide is being stiff the next day but that's ok! Just means that you have exercised a new area.

On Friday I'm going to be going to the Tekkoshocon. For all you Non-Otaku that is an anime convention. It's going to be held at the Expo-Mart in Monroeville. I am pretty looking forward to it. I'm meeting another girl there. I'm also going to do Coseplay. I decided to dress up as Agent Paper (a.k.a. Ms. Yomiko Readman) from "Read or Die". I'v been told that I naturally look like her so I think it's gonna be fun. I don't know much about the series but heck! It's all for fun anyways. I'll be puttin gup pics from the show on my DeviantArt website so keep an eye out.

So much to do and soo little time...

Hello dear friends. Sorry I have not updated in such a long time but I have been busy with a few things. I went home for Easter and had a good time. It was nice to see my family again. Unforchantley there was snow and yet in Pittsburgh there isn't any. As a matter of fact today was about 20C. Needless to say I was shocked. If the sun had stayed out it would have been pretty hot and perfect for tanning. I think you all know how much I like to tan :D

I started my Chinese Brush Painting Class. It's pretty interesting meeting different people who are interested in that kind of art. It's my first time and I know it's goign to take some work. So, I will be practicing a lot for the cource. The cource starts on March 28th and ends on May 17th. Our first work is on drawing the Chinese symbol for Bamboo and drawing the Bamboo. I have to pick up some much needed art supplies which include one bowl for water, one bowl for ink, some fabric, and paper towle. This is the first time I have been in a class for about 3 years. I feel soo old *lol*

I'm still doing deviant art! Take a look at my new work if you like! I'm always working on more :D

I'v been reading the Manga series of Hellsing. It's one of my favorite anime series. I first got introduced to it while belonging to the CTRL-A anime club. I am a big Vampire fan so this series was the natural fav. As soon as the manga series came out I very quickley started buying. I am up to book three now. I love being able to compair both book and animation. There are a few differences but I will go through that another time.

I'm still looking for work but sometimes it can be a small process. Hopefully it doesn't take too long. I hope to be working in either factory positions or computer related fields. We will see though what the future will throw at me.
