Christmas is a time to be with those you love! I hope that my family and friends know just how much they mean to me. This blog is meant as a gift to all those whom have been such wonderful friends to me. Be warned, this will be a long one!

Here?s the sappy stuff

Christmas is my favorite time of the year. I believe that this time of the year is created using equal parts. Some of these parts are family, friendship, religion, and basic forgiveness to those who may have hurt use in the past year. Although it has become very commercialism all over the world one constant occurs that makes it somewhat spiritual. This constant is the family. The one thing mentioned in any religion is that the family is to spend Christmas together and be thankful for each other. Even in Japan where Buddhist do not celebrate the birth of Jesus or Santa Clause, they still are together showing how much they acre for each other.

I think that all my friends/family has played a part in making Christmas mean a lot to me. I have known these great people from 6 month?s to 12 years. They have not only shaped my understanding of this season but also my whole life. I would not be as I am today (good or bad) with out them. I just hope that I have had the same affect on them as they have on me.

My bf has made me so happy this past year. I love him very much and haven?t felt like I could be more loved. He treats me like a princess and doesn?t put anything above me. Anything I?ve done in the past doesn?t bother him and he over looks it because I?m not the same as I was. I would never hurt him because I couldn?t imagine being without him or being anywhere else.

The fun!

There are a few things that I would like to share with everyone that just doesn?t make sense.

1) How come Santa?s Reindeer are female but have male names.

Explanation: During the fall male reindeer loose their antlers but the female of the species keep theirs all winter long till they give birth. Therefore, they are female?. Even old Rudolph is female.

2) Why is their no record of Rudolph in the 1800?s

Explanation: He was not invented till 1920 (ish). He was used to sell products in a popular shopping store.

3) Yes, there WAS a Santa Clause!

Explanation: Not Santa Clause but Saint Nicholas. He used to give poor girls/women money to keep as dowry in order to attract a husband.

Well... It is Christmas eve Day. I suppose I had better get in to the holiday spirit (if I can) I hope that you all dear readers and friends alike have a wounderful Christmas and a Happy New year.....
